LG K3 - New competitor ?

OVERVIEW

South Korean electronic manufacturer LG has launched LG K3 in US at a price of $80 (₹5,500). The smartphone is now available via Boost Mobile and Virgin Mobile.

LG K3 comes with a quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 210 MSM8909 processor which is clocked at 1.1GHz and comes with 8GB of inbuilt storage which can be expanded up to 32GB via SD Card and coupled with 1GB of ram. The phone support both 3G and 4G/LTE connectivity as well.  Connectivity options on the handset include Bluetooth, GPS, Wi-Fi, and Micro-USB.

LG K3 runs on Android 6.0 Marshmallow out of the box, which is the major advantage of the phone. Battery of the phone is removable and powered by a 1940mAh which can deliver talk time up to 14 hours. 

The phone comes with a 4.50-inch FWVGA display with a resolution of 480x854 pixel. The resolution of the phone is average not so good. Talking about the camera, the rear shooter is  5-megapixel and the front camera is 0.3-megapixel (VGA camera), front camera is not good for taking selfies or for video calling.

CONCLUSION

PROS

1. The phone runs on Android 6.0 Marshmallow.

2. Phone has a 5 megapixel rear shooter.

3. The phone is 4G/LTE enabled.

CONS

1. Front camera is not upto the mark

2. No dual sim support.

3. Phone resolution is average.

4. No gorilla glass protection

** Their are many phones in the market having high specification on same price as LG K3 have. Micromax, Honor, ZTE offers more specifications as compare to LG K3. The phone is not a new competitor because the specifications of the less and it can't stand or give any competition to other brands offering their smartphones at low budget like 5K or 6K. LG  has't revealed any information for launching LG K3 in India.
